Growing Up...
One of the most alarming things about being a new parent is watching helplessly as your child...grows up. Any parent will know what I'm talking about. You want to keep them small, cute and helpless forever, but at the same time you celebrate every milestone - turning over, holding their head up, crawling, walking, forming complete sentences. Nigel has only accomplished items one and two on that list, but crawling is just around the corner, and talking is also very close. It is amazing to watch the little guy drink in the world around him. He is so observant, always looking left, right, up, and you can see him actually concentrating, trying to figure everything out. Sure, he gets grumpy occasionally, usually either when he's hungry, or when he's sleepy. He hates to sleep - it's almost as if he's pissed off at the very idea of missing something due to sleep. He'll make these little moaning sounds as he tries to stay awake, but it always ends the same:
As I mentioned in the last post, Nigel has grown considerably since birth. The two pictures below are the best ones I have to demonstrate that fact:

Pretty amazing, huh? The boy's a big'un! We have also found that he is an incredible flirt. Margaret will take him to the grocery store where she works, and as all of her female co-workers gather around, he will smile and make eyes at them. It's pretty funny. Like father like son, I suppose...
