Ain't it funny how time slips away
Man, I cannot believe it has been more than a month since I last updated this thing. In all fairness, I have been very busy. I am currently training for a new position at my day job, and of course there is always plenty of writing to be done. I am no longer managing the Fire Apes. I stopped and took a look at everything that I had on my plate, and decided that if I continued to do so, I would basically never sleep or have any free time ever again. Not the sort of life I want with a kid on the way. Writing at this point is much more important to me, so the band will have to find itself another manager. Their CD is really good though. Check out the band's website and buy one if you don't believe me.
Well, time is getting short, and in fact baby time might be here sooner than we think. Margaret went to the doctor the other day, and was told that the Bean is already 4 pounds. Now if the date our doctor is giving us is anywhere close to accurate, that means that this is going to be one big baby. We're hoping that the dates are off and that we're a little further along than we thought. We've been going to birthing classes once a week at the hospital. The first class we saw some actual births, and Margaret and I found ourselves getting emotional watching other people's babies being born. I have no idea what it's going to be like when ours comes. The above picture was taken this past Sunday in our front yard. Margaret is showing just a lil' bit, wouldn't you say?
