'Zat you, Santa Claus?
As Nigel gets older, I'm sure he'll start to appreciate the various holidays a bit more. Take Halloween for instance. That's him below in his mouse costume. The photo represents the split second we could get him to sit still and not cry. To Nigel's credit, it has been unseasonably warm this fall and winter, so to put him in a warm uncomfortable costume was obviously upsetting. He stuck it out though...
...for about the first 30 seconds at least. Then he turned into this...
...Aw, poor guy. He's generally a fairly laid back kid, open to changing his look...
...possibly a future Elton John fan? With the Christmas season upon us, we of course had to take the little guy out and show him what happens during the holidays. He was pretty dazzled by the lights at Marion Square...
...and even got an audience with the big guy himself...
Look at that, he looks like he's throwing out a blessing to the crowd. Nice. He's even taken some time to pose with mom and dad. Here's Nigel and Margaret at the top of the Holiday Inn...
I love that picture. He looks like he's leaning in to say "Howdy." Actually, that's pretty much what he's doing. He's dad and the kid taking in the Charleston Christmas parade.
People say he looks like me, and that picture really demonstrates that. Just one more day until Christmas. I can't wait. I also can't wait until he is old enough to not be able to wait.
